Welcome to the Crane Lakes Homeowners Association website! We invite you to look through these pages to get a glimpse into our great community!

Our H.O.A. works as a liaison to management representing all 802 homes to enhance the lifestyle we have chosen. The fundamental purpose of an H.O.A. is to serve as a legal entity to exercise the rights provided in Florida Statue 723 and making certain our rights as homeowners are protected.

Our Activity Director works with the residents of Crane Lakes to provide many dances and shows to help keep us all entertained. In addition to the many activities Crane Lakes has to offer, such as Bingo, the Board of Directors holds several fundraisers throughout the year, including a Trash & Treasure Sale (a community garage sale, where residents can sell their former treasures), a Holiday Craft Show featuring many crafts by both residents and non-residents, and a Home/Health/Business Expo, which provides the opportunity for residents and non-residents to see many local businesses display their products. These fundraisers help us to purchase items (such as our new sound system and bingo machine) to help the residents enjoy the many ballroom activities.

This website will show you upcoming events (on the Activity Calendar tab), pictures from some of our events (on the Photo Gallery tab), agendas and minutes from the H.O.A. Board of Directors meeting and the Informational Meeting (on the Meeting & Agenda tab), current financials (on the Financial tab). We encourage your support and participation by attending meetings (BOD, 1st Monday of the month and Informational meetings the 2nd Thursday of the month). We would like you to look at the Policy & Procedure tab as well as the Liaison Chart tab to see if there are any committees you would like to join to help our H.O.A. continue to play a major role in making Crane Lakes a great place to live.

We also encourage you to be an H.O.A. member by clicking on the Policy & Procedure tab and selecting the Membership Application. On the same tab, you will notice an application to join the F.M.O. (Federation of Manufactured Homeowners). The F.M.O. is an organization that works with our Lobbyist that lobbies to get legislation passed that will help mobile/manufactured homeowners. The Lobbyist also watches for legislation that will hurt home owners, like the tax bill that would have taxed all mobile/manufactured homes as real property, even those in rental parks.
